The talented Edgar Chu, designer of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, created a tape art replica of the vehicle at the Formula One Grand Prix in Silverstone last weekend. The artwork celebrated the Mercedes-AMG GT3’s debut race which took place at the same time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Take a look at the masterpiece below.

Another Pforzheim University graduate, Australian Edgar Chu devoted his studies to creating some impressively in-depth future themes for some well-established names. We're most impressed by his E-Formula concept, a series of designs for a Mercedes-Benz of 2020 that aptly captures the marque's solidity and heritage while implying high levels of dynamism and sportiness. Chu has done work experience at Ford and Nissan and hopes to bring his modelling skills and formal ingenuity to a big name studio soon.

Pforzheim Summer show2009

In my last show in Pforzheim I presented 3 different designs with 3 models. All models are end result of 1st mill data from Alias. There are still many things which I am not happy with from digital phase to actual physical model. A lot more can still be refine and adjust. Only if I can get my hands on clay. Then the result will be alot better. Unfortunately schedule and budget wise won't allow me to do so.
